New shoes and internet service
Kitten got new shoes for the cruise!

I admit that taking pictures of shoes isn't my forte, but you can see how cute they are :) The are high and I have not worn a pair of shoes this high in years...but they sure are pretty on my feet! Pray I don't fall.
Yesterday at the grocery store I saw a new kind of Magic 8 Ball. It was the Lemony Snicket's: A Series of Unfortunate Events kind. I have not seen that movie so I wasn't sure what kind of answers it would have to questions.
I picked it up and asked "Are we going to have fun on our cruise?"
It said "Don't ask again"
I left well enough alone and put it down and didn't ask again. Then I picked up the regular Magic 8 Ball and asked the same question. I figured it was okay to ask the same question to a different Magic 8 ball.
It said "Didn't I tell you not to ask again!"
*Chuckles*
No, no, I'm kidding. It said "Better ask again later"
So this was a tad bit worrying. I put it down and left the Magic 8 Ball isle.

Greg and I have been reading more reviews and we're finding out that you have to pay for every single thing on a cruise. Right down to a band-aid. If you need an iron, you have to pay. Who isn't going to need an iron after having their clothes stuffed into a suitcase for 12+ hours? They must make a killing on the iron rentals alone. And it's not cheap if you get sick. One guy wrote a review and said he had an infected toe ~ eeewwwwww!!! They had to clean it, wrap it up and give him a shot of penicillin. It cost him $375.00. Goodness. I don't remember the doctor on "The Love Boat" charging for stuff....sheesh.
The other thing they charge you for is internet access. I started getting a feeling about this when I was reading about the iron rentals. There is no way they are giving you free wireless access in your cabin. So I called Celebrity and got all the prices. It's not cheap. This of course means I will only update a few times. I still have to take my laptop to download all my pictures from my camera, but I can't use it to update. They have an internet cafe and I can go there and update when I feel like it. There is a package deal for $70 or you can pay .75 cents a minute. Yes, .75 cents a minute. I don't type that fast, so looks like I'm getting the package deal. Or I can just wait until I get back. We'll see.
okay, that's it for now.
