Here!
We're here! Finally....at last. Man, that flight from Atlanta to London was a killer. Need to fly first class when you go for an 8 hour flight I think.
The flights were peretty uneventful. Smooth and not much turblance. The people however....they were another story. It was lovers lane right in front of us on the way out of San Diego. Those two must have just gotten married and were very excited to start the honeymoon. Then on the way to London someone had not discovered this new thing called deodorant. Nothing like 8 hours of BO.
But then we got here. London is so beautiful. It really is just like all the postcards. We took a bus from Gatwick Airport to the crusie ship terminal in Dover. Looking out the window on the way here was like being in a painting. Reallly very pretty. Got to the ship and first thing in the door I laid down and didn't get up until the lifeboat drill about an hour later. We all had to wear our life jackets. I should have taken a picture.
The ship set sail when we got back to our room, but we had no idea. Greg looked out at the deck and said "Hey, we're moving!"
It's very smooth so far. Can't tell it's moving at all to this point.
We had made-to-order pasta for dinner and then laid in lounge chairs by the pool. It's too cold to swim today. We started to fall asleep so we came back to the room and went to bed. We've hardly slept.
Okay, have to go so I don't use up too many of my wireless minutes. Turns out I have wireless in the room! Woo!
Will post again soon!
